Frightland Welcomes Bachelorette Party

In our 18 years in business, we have never been told specifically that a bachelorette party had come to Frightland. That all changed this past weekend, our opening weekend for the 2014 season. Team Alfree headed to Middletown, Delaware to check out our 8 haunted attractions. The lovely ladies spent their Friday night getting the pants scared off of them. 

We'd like to wish the beautiful bride to be a very very wonderful wedding and a lifetime of happiness. We thank you for choosing Frightland and we hope you and your wonderful bridesmaids come and visit us again! Frightland opens for the 2014 Season

Frightland - the Mid-Atlantic's premiere haunted attraction located in Middletown, Delaware - opens it's gates for their 18th season tonight. At 6pm tonight, all 8 haunted attractions begin to scare the pants off of the tens of thousands of brave people who will take to the scream park.

Frightland features a haunted hayride, cemetery, prison, a barn, a house, and much more.

Fort Delaware military ghost

I was visiting Fort Delaware in Delaware City and while I was taking pictures, I noticed a man at the end of the hallway who was dressed in military attire. I figured he was there for some sort of reenactment. The man continued to walk back and forth at the end of the hall. I said to my friend who was with me, "Do you see the military guy at the end of the hall? I guess they are getting ready to reenact something." My friend looked and replied, "What are you talking about? There is no one down there." She decided to investigate herself.

As my friend walked down the hall I saw the man in the military uniform go to the right of the hallway. When she got to the end of the hall (which had a rounded end with a small, thin window-like opening on the left side, she checked it out. She said, "See? Nothing here. Plus, if someone could get out of that opening they would have had to be paper thin. There's no door on the right side. It's just wall."

Upon returning home, I looked back at the pictures I had taken of that hallway. There were several orbs and one was very, very bright. But no sign of the man at all.

Frightland opens up in Middletown Delaware in 2 days for the 2014 Season

Frightland, the Mid-Atlantic's premiere haunted attraction theme park, opens its doors for the 2014 season in just two days. At 6pm on Friday September 26 2014, the gates of Frightland will open for their 18th season. Located in Middletown, Delaware, Frightland was named by Forbes as one of the Top 10 Best Haunted Attractions in America and named by the Travel Channel as one of the Top 10 Scariest Haunts in America.
